Office Success Stories Chiropractic is the largest drugless health profession in the world. It is used by the large majority of professional athletes and celebrities. It works by removing interference from the communication lines between the brain and the body (the Nervous System). We get to see miraculous changes in people every day we practice. Here are SOME success stories of the past few weeks: – a 31-year old with pain, stiffness and dysfunction throughout her spine is feeling 70% improvement in all her body issues. She can now breathe better and has more energy!
– a 20-year old college rugby player who injured his neck and shoulder, and had decreased blood flow to his right arm is feeling great after 5 weeks of care. – a 62-year old realtor with chronic low back pain and hip pain has improved tremendously right from the start. He has continued care for 2 months and his posture, circulation and overall function of his lower spine and hips is just getting better and better! – a 42-year old with chronic stomach pain that no doctor could address, has NO PAIN after 2 weeks of care. – a 70-year old with arthritic knees and lower back had improvement in function after just 3 weeks of care. He has continued to make steady improvement and can now enjoy all his outdoor activities more. — a 56 year old man whose plantar fasciitis of 5 years duration was corrected (along with his spine.) There are many more, but you get the picture! This type of thing is happening in certified ABC™ offices around the English-speaking world. The science of effectively analyzing and correcting bodies is now available, but it might take another generation to become common knowledge.(see the new national ABC™ website click here.) We are right here in Ithaca. Be a hero to someone you know and forward this newsletter on to him or her. Both of you will be glad you took the time to do so! |
2012 Rate Change Starting January 15th our rates will change from $48 to $49 per office visit. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Rising costs have forced this modest fee increase. All current block prepayments and prepaid treatment plans will be honored. Thank you for your support! |
Medications Found to Cause Long-term Cognitive Impairment
While chiropractic care removes nerve interference, some medications create it. Nerve transmissions from the brain carry valuable information to the heart, liver, stomach and other organs, telling the body how to function. Common sense tells us that interference to that information is harmful to the body’s ability to maintain its own health. Drugs such as Benadryl, Dramamine, Excedrin PM, Nytol, Sominex, Tylenol PM, Unisom, Paxil, Detrol, Demerol and Elavil contain anticholinergics, which block a particular neurotransmitter. “The six-year study found that taking one anticholinergic significantly increased an individual’s risk of developing mild cognitive impairment and taking two of these drugs doubled this risk,” said Dr. Noll Campbell. “Simply put, we have confirmed that anticholinergics can cause or worsen cognitive impairment, specifically long-term mild cognitive impairment which involves gradual memory loss… I tell my… patients not to take these drugs,” said Malaz Boustani, M.D Because symptoms are gradual and delayed, people do not connect them to the underlying cause, and damage may be advanced before they realize they have a problem. Whether caused by a misaligned spinal bone or a drug, nerve interference has serious long-term health consequences. Waiting for symptoms is an ineffective way to maintain health because, by the time symptoms are apparent, much damage may have already occurred. To protect your body from nerve interference, two important health habits are necessary: (1) Have your spine checked regularly for vertebral subluxations by a chiropractor, and (2) stay close to nature – drink pure water and eat real food – avoid pesticides, preservatives, nicotine, non-essential drugs, etc. Your health depends on maintaining the inner foundation of a clear, properly functioning nervous system.

A Desk That Lets You Sit or Stand
This is the way to go!! The research shows that people who sit more than 4 hours per day have a MUCH higher mortality rate than those who don’t (and this is independent of all other variables!). Check out this review: |

The philosophical basis of chiropractic is echoed in this famous quote: “All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force…. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.” — Max Plank, Nobel prize-winning physicist 1944. |
